FINAL REFLECTION

It´s difficult to say which activities I found  more useful and interesting, because all of them have been really good and practical. I think I can use all of them wherever I´m working.

At the beginning of the course, I felt myself worried and quite nervous. I knew little about blogs and the different tools we´ve learnt in this course. Perhaps the most difficult and "stupid" thing was that I had no idea of how to copy and paste the embed code and the reason for it. I lacked the overall idea of the basic steps to be given in order to follow the course. These first moments were critical for me. I was just about to quit. Now I´m glad I didn´t.

Another interesting point has been the way we have interacted among us. To see the works of other peers is stimulating and their comments very motivating in order to continue with the following topics. Our teacher, Sonia, has always been there, ready to help us. Thank you, Sonia.

It´s a pity the course has come to the end. Now that I know a bit more about ICT, I´d have loved to go on for a few months more. I hope I´ll be able to use some or all the tools I´ve learnt. I´d like to learn more...but...TIME...where could we buy it?

Thank you Sonia and thank you everyone!

ESL VIDEO QUIZ

Great !  I like this tool ! It can be an interesting and a motivating way to engage our students in the learning process. This time I´ve just copied the video and the quiz, but I could use any video in the web and prepare an easy quiz or a more difficult one depending on my students´ level.

MY FIRST WIKI !!!

I´ve decided to use my first wiki with my youngest children, at the infant school. Right now, I´m working TEN IN THE BED  with the 4 year old children and LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD with 5 year old ones.
My idea is to tell them the story with the big books in their own class. We´ll do this twice a week. Before I start telling them the story I´ll remind them that they´re soon going to watch a few short videos about the story they´re learning at the moment.

When I see my children are ready and capable of repeating the main words and sentences I´ll show them the different videos. After that, I might record my children´s voices (podcasting) or/and record their role-play in a video. Finally, I could show them how well they´ve done it. They could also compare their works with the class next to them by watching their mates´ role-plays, games, songs and so on.

I would be very glad if any member in this course could give me more ideas about different ways of using wikis at school. Thank you.
